PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL IN MACAU SAR RESUMED OVERSEAS VOTERS REGISTRATION ON 06 MAY

06 May 2014 – The Philippine Consulate General in Macau SAR resumed registration for overseas voters on 06 May 2014, Wednesday. The first registrant was a domestic worker whose current contract will remain valid beyond the voting period in 2016. She expressed her excitement at being able to register at the Consulate with such ease.  

The Consulate has announced the resumption of registration for qualified Filipinos through notices in its consular area, website, Facebook page, as well as during Filipino community activities. The Consulate plans to intensify the information campaign and expects an increase in voter registration in the coming weeks.
