Santo Niño devotees flocked the Plaza do Lago de Sai Van outside the Macau Tower where the Sinulog Festival 2018 held the celebration last Sunday, 21 January 2018.

The annual celebration of the Sinulog Festival has been recognized by the host government making it a part of the Tourism calendar to attract more tourist in Macau.

Consul General Lilybeth R. Deapera together with Labor Attaché Vivian F. Tornea and Cultural Officer Jocelyn A. Bianzon-Carbonell attended the event. As guest speaker, Consul General extended her warm greetings to the members of the Filipino Community who were present that day. She also thanked the Government of Macau in extending its support to the Community to mark this festivity.

The activities of the Sinulog 2018 were featured in the local newspaper, the Macao Daily and in English media coverage of Macau Daily Times and Macau TDM.
